The Federal government and some states have laws that attempt to protect the needs of people with disabilities. Dyslexia can be a disabling condition. In an attempt to provide the public with knowledge of their rights under the law, the Academic Language Therapy Association provides information pertaining to dyslexia law. This list is not conclusive, as currently have legislation pending. Contacts have been provided within this area to facilitate communication with your Senator, Congressperson, and State government representative.
